11月5日、6日、フランスで高レベル放射性廃棄物輸送に対する抗議行動

フランスの反核ネットワーク　Réseau "SORTIR DU NUCLEAIRE "から

11月５、6日にアレヴァ社のラ・アーグ再処理工場からドイツに返還される高レベル放射性廃棄物の輸送ルートに沿って抗議行動を展開しようという呼びかけがなされています。

フランス語が読めない（し、日本語に訳す暇がない）ので、英語にgoogle翻訳したものを下に添付します。イマイチへんなところもあるけど、大体の意味は取れます。

輸送ルートの各駅やトラック輸送の沿道のスポットで抗議しようというもの。
「この抗議は輸送を阻止しようというのではなく、危険性をアピールし原発が間違った選択であることに焦点をあてる」としています。

米国の原発新設に融資や保証を検討していると噂されているＪＢＩＣやＮＥＸＩに対し、「そんな見返りの見込めない危険な融資はおやめなさい」というレターを提出しようとしています。

ＪＢＩＣやＮＥＸＩは途上国へのＯＤＡという名前で行われた途上国への融資や保証は、Ｇ７（８）で債務帳消しが国際的に認められるまで「なにがあっても返せ！」エイエイ、ギリギリ（←締め付ける音）という態度をとりつつ、

一方で、”ミャンマー”軍事政権とかには「いいですよ、返せるときで」みたいな態度もとるので、米国だったら「返せなくても貸します。いいですよ、返せなくても」になりかねない気がする・・。

このブログの趣旨にぴったりじゃん！・・じゃなくて、そーゆー理不尽なカネなら返さんは許さん、というか、最初から貸すな、というのがこのブログの趣旨なのだ。

大分で日米（だけじゃなく世界も！）つないで平和活動に邁進されてるＳさんが要請書の翻訳を手伝って（とゆーかほぼやって！）くださいました。

台湾・第四原発：一号機中央制御室のほとんどが焼失

紆余曲折の上、再開が決定。

建国百年記念日（2011.10.10）までになんとか商業運転開始を！と作業が進められてきた台湾第四原発（龍門プロジェクト）で3月31日、火災が発生。

第一号機中央制御室のほとんどが焼失するという大事故でしたが、6月に週刊誌がすっぱ抜くまでこの事故は内密にされていたようです。

制御室ですから、万一運転中にこんな事故が起こったら・・と考えるとぞっとします。

来年から商業運転を予定しているが、安全面では非常に心配。

事故の情報はすぐには公表されなかった。

安全の問題で10日に、国会議員と環境団体が記者会見を開き、稼動前に国際的な検収会社に検査を依頼するべきだと主張した。

not to ignore the peoples’ voices and to stop the Pluthermal Project at Genkai nuclear power plant.

1) THE PLUTHERMAL PROJECT IS DANGEROUS

The program uses MOX fuel in a reactor originally designed for uranium fuel, The control rods' capacity to function is reduced and the power output is less stable and much harder to control.

KYUDEN is using MOX fuel with a higher concentration of plutonium (almost double) than that used in other countries.

Even a small accident or a breakdown when using deadly-poisonous plutonium might cause great damage to the environment and to the life and health of local people.

2)THERE ARE SERIOUS CONCERNS THAT A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE MOX FUEL BEING USED AT GENKAI

KYUDEN hasn’t disclosed any information about the MOX fuel they were using for Genkai Unit 3, including whether or not the defective MOX fuel, which Kansai Electric Power had decided to reject as unsuitable fuel for their nuclear power plant, has been used in Genkai.

3) THE JAPANESE NUCLEAR REGULATOR HAS NO LEGAL GROUNDS FOR THE CRITERIA TO REGULATE MOX FUEL ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

There are no legal grounds established for the criteria by which the Japanese government’s nuclear regulator, NISA (Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency), an agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry inspects imported MOX fuel assemblies.

Therefore, even if the MOX fuel had passed the examination of the government, this does not guarantee its safety.

4) THERE IS NO PLAN TO DEAL WITH THE SPENT MOX FUEL

The government has no plan to deal with the spent MOX fuel, which takes 500 years before it can be cooled down to a temperature at which you can manage to bury it underground.

There is a strong possibility that Genkai will be the de facto disposal site for the spent MOX fuel.

We can’t leave such gigantic negative “inheritance” to future generations.

5) THE PLUTHERMAL PROGRAM IS MOVING FRORWARD DESPITE FAILURE OF THE NUCLEAR FUEL CYCLE PROGRAM

This Pluthermal Project is a part of the Japanese state policy of “Nuclear Fuel Cycle”.

But Rokkasho Reprocessing Plant, a core project of the “Nuclear Fuel Cycle” plan, which was supposed to start its operation in 1997, still hasn’t started working because of a spate of troubles.

The “Nuclear Fuel Cycle” plan itself has already failed.

We strongly demand a stop to Pluthermal nuclear generation at Genkai until these problems are solved.
